Jewellery by Jess Smith - fabulous makeup by Amna at Beautyworks and Fran just makes it effortless.

I've been working in b+w for so long that it's nice to have to really work and think about what the colours and tones should be.

It was a really bright day so had a bit of trouble exposing correctly. But i think with a little (as in not too much) photoshop it's come out great.

Another from the Rousham shoot - finally got round to completing my backlog of images for editing. Really pleased with the results.

Emmy
I think she'd just sneezed or somthing and when I looked up she was just bringing the hands down. I thought it looked so good - like a mid prayer that we tried to emmulate it again. The look off camera (something that doesn't normally do it for me) also added to the world outside the frame.

I loved this in colour as well but thought the pools of light on the dress in b+w made the whole scene melt together so well.

Not entirely convinced I managed to meter properly for the flowers in the sun and for the models face...

This was the shot I decided on for Sonny Malhotra's ProAm project. Thought the smile was so genuine and the look out of shot so intriguing that it had to be the one really.

4th May Rousham Shoot
Finally managed to get together with some likeminded people and head out to Kidlington and get some shots in the sun at the Rousham estate. Great gardens with lots of little nooks and crannies to get some decent shots.
Looking forward to editing them all - it was great to have a few other photographers along as well to bounce ideas off.
